A dramatic documentary of sensory isolation, the filming of "The Nth Dimension" was undertaken by members of the Department of Psychology of the University of Vermont. Your hosts for the show, Dr. Donald Forgays and Mr. James Levin, will discuss sensory isolation as a method for investigating problems of human motivation. Film of the isolation laboratory as well as special effects are utilized to report research techniques and results of this Air Force and NASA-supported project. (A NASA and AFOSR supported project on "Isolation & Sensory Communication")

The Vermont International Film Festival is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film.

About VAMP

Launched in 2014 by a group of filmmakers, archivists and concerned members of the public who wished to ensure the survival of artists’ films in Vermont, VAMP officially became a program of VTIFF in May 2015. The VAMP committee has broadened the initial concept to include all types of films and videos made by VT filmmakers or shot in Vermont.
