Garry Simpson was the first Program Manager at Vermont Educational Television. In his role he selected and scheduled all of the programs on air. He also oversaw all of the programs produced locally in the Colchester studio, and on location in the mobile bus. In addition, Mr. Simpson made all of the arrangements with the Eastern Educational Network and National Educational Television for receiving and exchanging programs among the networks. A graduate of Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, Mr. Simpson created entertainment TV programs for the National Broadcasting Company in New York City, and school instructional TV programs for the New York State Educational Department, before coming to Vermont ETV.
