Lake Champlain shaped the past of the Champlain valley, and today it is the valley's major resource. This new series of four half-hour programs exploring the many aspects of the interrelationship between Lake Champlain and the Champlain Valley, has as its overall theme the belief that as the lake goes, so goes the Valley; that if the Valley is to be a prosperous, attractive place to live and work the Lake must be preserved and protected. The host for the series is Dr. Cole Twitchell, a Burlington resident well known for his interest in conservation and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Vermont Medical College.
