Taking advantage of the teaching opportunities a presidential election presents, primary and secondary schools around the U.S., including many in Vermont, will participate in an event called "The Student/Parent Mock Election." In classrooms throughout the state, students will fill out ballots for U.S. president and vice-president and for the Vermont offices of U.S. representative, governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, auditor of accounts, and attorney general.
