Many teachers will be exploring the election process with students this fall. To encourage student involvement in the political system and interest in the democratic process, Vermont ETV will promote awareness of the election issues and offer a forum for students opinions to be heard in this pre-election day event. Student anchors will provide results of statewide polling in Vermont schools. All middle schools and high schools in Vermont are invited to call in their results in five major races and two referendum questions. Vermont ETV will present results between ITV programs and hear students' views on the 1992 election.
The Vermont International Film Festival is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film.
Launched in 2014 by a group of filmmakers, archivists and concerned members of the public who wished to ensure the survival of artists’ films in Vermont, VAMP officially became a program of VTIFF in May 2015. The VAMP committee has broadened the initial concept to include all types of films and videos made by VT filmmakers or shot in Vermont.
