A live call-in program in cooperation with the Vermont Bar Association on the 18-year-old vote. To help teenagers sort out their new legal status as a result of the landmark legislation passed by the legislature making July 1, 1971 the date when 26,000 Vermont 18 year olds attain the legal age of majority. Problems in legal status, state and federal voting rights, education, banking, and contracts will be dealt with by a special group of legal and other panelists. The panel will include Attorney General James Jeffords; Hilton Wick, President of the Chittenden Trust Company; Attorney Alan Overton, Essex Junction; Chittenden County Probate Judge William O'Brien; Attorney Richard Blum, Director of Vermont Legal Aid; and Dr. Alfred Rollins, UVM VP for Academic Affairs.
