The third installment in the popular "Vermont Memories" series sheds light on little-known facts and historical oddities, and serves up stories from every corner of Vermont. The program focuses on three areas: Business and industrial heritage; outside social and cultural influences; and some leisure activities that have become "uniquely Vermont." Among its focal points are the 1927 flood, a Waterbury fire of mysterious origin, life in the logging camps, and cracker-making. Through the use of archival film and still photography, along with extensive interviews, the program highlights some ordinary--and extraordinary--people and places in Vermont's history.

The Vermont International Film Festival is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film.
Launched in 2014 by a group of filmmakers, archivists and concerned members of the public who wished to ensure the survival of artists’ films in Vermont, VAMP officially became a program of VTIFF in May 2015. The VAMP committee has broadened the initial concept to include all types of films and videos made by VT filmmakers or shot in Vermont.
