This folder (180.85 gigs) contains all of the footage for Sue's film Four Friends, which she made for the Vermont Movie, but which she finished as a stand alone film. There is a folder called Susan Bettmann files for Four Friends, which includes the Media folder for that film with all the clips used in the final cut pro project called Four Friends-for Freedom & Unity Movie. (It includes footage of the Rabins baking, shot by Nora Jacobson, and Susan Bettmann, Peter Schumann baking shot by Susan Bettmann, some of the Bread and Puppet Pageant, shot by Robin Lloyd and Nora Jacobson and Susan Bettmann, Jules and Helen Rabin, a demonstration in Montpelier against Iraq War, showing Michael Arnowitt),
There are are also folders with the raw footage of the interview of Peter and Elka Schumann, and their barn, shot by Nora Jacobson, and Susan Bettmann in June 2008, (parts of which were used in Freedom & Unity: The Vermont Movie, in Part 4); A folder with raw footage of author Katherine Patterson, shot by Sophie Bettmann Kerson in June 2008; the raw footage of Jules and Helen Rabin, shot in July 2008 by Sophie Bettmann Kerson.
There is also footage from the Middlesex Town Meeting, shot in 2008, shot by Susan Bettmann.
The Vermont International Film Festival is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film.
Launched in 2014 by a group of filmmakers, archivists and concerned members of the public who wished to ensure the survival of artists’ films in Vermont, VAMP officially became a program of VTIFF in May 2015. The VAMP committee has broadened the initial concept to include all types of films and videos made by VT filmmakers or shot in Vermont.
